Sheets Laundry launched in 2019, and since then, their two-man team of "the Chris's" Chris Videau and Chris Campbell, has grown into a dedicated group of change-makers. Each is passionate and committed to helping save our planet by providing plastic-free, eco-friendly alternatives to your normal laundry routine.
CEO and co-founder, Chris Videau, and his wife Laurian have collectively served over 27 years in the military and traveled to over 20 different countries. During their time overseas, they both became painfully aware of the vast amount of plastic that pollutes our oceans. Chris and Laurian had the opportunity to see the global plastic crisis first-hand and they wanted to do something about it. So, after leaving the military, they set to work creating a plan that would allow for a more sustainable future for the generations to come.
Sheets started when 2 guys met at their sons’ t-ball game, then it evolved into a small business operating out of a garage. Fast forward to now: they serve thousands of people and help equip them to make a difference.
What are laundry detergent sheets anyway?
It's simple, really. Laundry detergent sheets are pre-measured, dehydrated sheets of detergent that dissolve instantly in the wash. They’re an environmentally friendly, timesaving solution to washing your clothes.
Laundry sheets get rid of the plastic and commonly found harsh chemicals used in mainstream detergent all while keeping your clothes feeling and smelling just as clean.
While scrolling through tv last week I stumbled on some familiar faces. None other than Chris and Chris, on SHARK TANK!!
I sat affixed to the tv, praying, cheering, and as invested as if I personally were presenting to the sharks. Mr. Wonderful was out, Mark out... Fingers, toes crossed I yelled at the tv and said "they are amazing, someone has to see that" and the heavens heard my prayers...
or perhaps it was actually not me at all, and rather the product and their passion for what they do.
They secured a deal with KIND founder Daniel Lubetzky. The goal now is "to get into some larger retail locations in 2022 and prove to big brands that there is a demand for alternative laundry detergent and that people are tired of the plastics crisis," Chris Videau
